Biography

Prior to attending OSU, Ahmed Abdel-Warith received a master’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1984. Ahmed returned to Egypt in 1990 and joined AAW Consulting Engineers in Cairo. He is now vice president of AAW Consulting Engineering, a company his father founded in 1957 that employs more than 400 engineers in three offices. AAW provides services to fulfill the specific needs of national programs in the Middle Eastern region related to public utilities, community services, industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. It is the largest environmental and water resources engineering firm in Egypt, and is a leading international consulting firm.
